Whether you're driving down the Kancamagus Highway or headed up Moose Alley, pristine natural areas can be found throughout the White Mountains and the Great North Woods. My husband and I have captured some wonderful photographs of mountain landscapes, wildlife and other natural wonders that are sure to inspire others to admire the area as we do.

Amazing Sunrise!
For my first post I am presenting my idea of the perfect New Hampshire photograph. We took this in early October of last year at sunrise. We had woken up extremely early to pursue our obsession with photographing the states icon, the moose, and were headed up Route 3 towards the Canadian boarder. As the sun began to rise we passed Second Connecticut Lake and I caught a glimpse of this remarkable landscape. We immediately turned around and pulled into the access parking lot, grabbed our cameras and began snapping away. This photograph was the best one we captured and it is hard to put into words just how remarkable it was to take in this spectacular view. The lake was a still as could be and the mirrored effect that we captured was perfect. I recommend visiting this area to anyone who wants to experience true, natural beauty and has a passion for landscape photography. If you want to see this for yourself simple visit Pittsburg NH, the access parking lot is located off of Route 3 and is very easy to find. The area has a few other lakes and all of them contain magnificent views and peaceful settings. For more information on visiting the area check out Pittsburg New Hampshire's homepage.
